The trails have been my happy place for the past 20 years.

In that time, I've learned a lot about gear – what works, what doesn't, and what's worth the splurge. But most importantly, I've realised that you don't need to break the bank to enjoy the outdoors.

I'm passionate about helping others discover the joy of nature, no matter their budget. That's why I'm here to share my tips and reviews on affordable, high-quality gear that will get you out there exploring.

These days, I'm usually joined by my adventure buddy, Pepper the dog. She may only be 5, but she's already got a knack for sniffing out the best trails (and the muddiest puddles). When I'm not out with her, you can usually find me in Bedfordshire, planning our next adventure. But don't be surprised if you see us popping up in the Lake District, Peak District, Wales, or anywhere with good trails and even better views!
